EpicWorship

EpicWorship is a free, open-source church presentation software designed to help ministry teams project song lyrics, Bible verses, and multimedia graphics during church services. Initially developed by Philip Ekki of Giz Interactive, it was built as a lightweight, portable alternative to heavy, subscription-based worship software.

However, please note that the original EpicWorship application has been discontinued and is no longer actively maintained. Key Features of the Classic Software

When active, the desktop application specialized in clean, flexible projection environments:

Dual-Screen Operator Privacy: Actions taken on the user interface remain hidden from the congregation, allowing operators to queue assets seamlessly.

Intelligent Lyric Splitting: Operators can input bulk text, and the software automatically translates any blank space into a slide-break.

Dynamic Backgrounds: Supported both static images and motion loops/video backgrounds to run concurrently underneath live text.

Scripture & PowerPoint Integration: Included functions to quickly call up specific Bible verses or import existing external presentations. Current Status and EpicWorshipNeo

The project was originally written as a Java/JavaFX program for Windows. While the original desktop software can still be found hosted across third-party download libraries like Softpedia, the developer announced a rewrite called EpicWorshipNeo using React and ElectronJS on GitHub. Even so, the repository has not received updates for several years and is generally considered abandoned. Active Alternatives to Consider
